6 Common reasons an ATV won't start, include: Flat battery - jump or charge battery. Loose battery terminals - tighten terminals. Fouled spark plug - clean or replace plug. Flooded engine - dry out cylinder. Stale gas - drain and refill. Faulty starter solenoid - test & replace.

When I would try to start it, it wouldn't do anything and the display would go blank. I tried crossing over the solenoid and it still wouldn't do anything, nothing at all. Today I was writing in it and hooked up a charger/jump box to see if that battery was dead. The charger read that it was completely charged.

6. No Spark From The Spark Plugs. The spark plugs will sometimes stop sparking and when this happens, the ATV won't start. 2 posts · Joined 2014. #1 · Feb 19, 2014. I recently went out of a ride on my suzuki king quad 700, and while reverse it just quit and died.. Now i have no spark. I checked all the fuses, checked the coil, everything is good. Changed out the spark plug, still nothing. Changed the spark plug wire, notta. i pulled the code with the wire trick.

David Land Members 28 #1 Posted January 27, 2019 I have an 05 King Quad 700 that has in the past had to have the stator replaced twice. For the past six months it has been down hard as I cannot get it to fire. I have replaced the coil (which is the code that came up) and now I have a friend replacing the stator.
